The body performs its functions without the need to be given orders. We can however communicate with our bodies, and tell it what we need from it, by giving it what it needs. There are many natural substances that can aid the hair, and give it the basics it needs to grow hair the right way.

When these right substances are added to the body it is as effective as telling the body to use them, the body strives to run as efficiently as it can. It is in our nature to remain healthy, and the body does not work against itself when all is at a level of normalcy (Cancer defies this logic.) By putting substances like pro-vitamins into our system, we add to our own chances of growing long hair the right way, using our own bodies’ growth systems in our favour.

We want to use the system of growth for our benefit, and we can do so by best allowing growth to occur. Growth in the body takes place after all other necessary functions have been completed. The other functions get priority from the resources of the body. Say for example hair growth is not as important for the body as the act of breathing, or detoxifying the body through excretion. When there is an amount of energy left over, when all other functions have been carried out, that is when the excess energy is expended for controlled growth.

The hair, the skin and the nails grow at similar rates, always in a constant state of renewal and re-growth, unless we damage the hair follicles, the skin or nails below the surface irreparably. To promote the amount of energy that is available for growth, we need to consume not only energy rich foods, but also the elements which cause enzyme biochemical reactions in the body that cause the chain of events, by which carbohydrates and fat can be converted into energy.

By fuelling the hair follicles on all fronts, paying particular attention to the host of capillary veins which lie underneath the surface, and ‘service’ the hair follicles with their nutrient needs, we can use the bodies’ own natural growth processes towards the end of the growth we want. We want hair to grow faster, and do so by removing any impediments to fast growth such as a lack of energy, and a lack of the essential nutrients the follicles need to perform their generation of keratin from protein.

So too it is important that we take an all body or ‘holistic’ approach, as the processes of growth go beyond these factors alone. Stimulation of the hair follicles and the nerve receptors that dot the scalp in large quantities will also lead to a heightening of our ability to grow long hair. Once stimulated they send the signal that growth should take place, maintaining the antigen phase of hair growth.

This antigen phase is where we need to pay particular focus, up to 90% of our hair is grown during this phase, by elongating this phase we can make our hair grow longer and faster. It serves to reason then that if all of the elements are in place to allow constant growth to occur then growth will occur at a constant. Growth is slower when we are unwell, therefore it should be our focus not to allow our body to get into this state of un-wellbeing. If like with suffering from the common cold we are unable to deter ailments from affecting us, we can improve the pace at which we return to full health, by increasing our intake of vitamins like Vitamin C. This vitamin is proven to reduce the time it takes for us to get back to full health after such an illness.

By being anaerobic-ally fit, we can promote additional oxygen into our red blood cells which service the hair follicle with the factors of growth. We can also; using Vitamins like Biotin boost the number of red blood cells in our body to promote the circulation of oxygen to where we want it.  We want it at our heads getting our hair growing faster.
