I think diet is the foundation for health. If somebody isn't physically healthy ,then you can't expect to be healthy. You actually need to have EPA molecules in order to get good membranes for your cells so they function properly.

What we lose must be replaced to avoid our loss being viewable to the naked eye. There are a host of means to improving hair growth naturally, some may seem obvious and others could be seen as a little unorthodox.

First however we need to understand what promotes growth? And, why indeed hair exists in the first place? Hair may seem simple, whereas in fact it is quite complex. Our losing the hairy bodies that we see possessed by our ape cousins is down to evolution. New hunting techniques that were devised two and a half million years ago led to a large amount of protein in our diets. Extra protein meant bigger bodies, the way we hunted using up energy meant that the body needed to find a way to sweat, so the body naturally evolved to lose much of its body hair.

The hair was there in the first place to help our bodies stay warm, when this was no longer needed we evolved to grow less hair. Beyond sticking on a wig what can you do to promote hair growth?

We can keep our head clean, we can eat well and we can assure that when the sun shines we allow exposure, but hair is not like fresh grass. It just does not grow that way, of course all of these will help, but you want a real natural solution don’t you. Studies are beginning to prove that natural hair growth is promoted when there is a healthy blood flow to the scalp region.

A healthy blood flow allows for oxygenated blood to the region promoting growth, the previous factors mentioned allow for such a healthy blood flow. Ceasing to smoke can be of benefit, indeed there are many things which can be of benefit. There are 1,001 products out there on the market which claim to be of benefit. It is the truth however that taking vitamin supplements will help, this has been known for centuries from times in the past when significant amounts of hair upon a person’s head was seen as a sign of prestige.

Eating foods rich in vitamins in particular the vitamin E will give you that oxygenated blood that I’ve mentioned as important in hair growth. Using topical treatments that are composed of materials rich in vitamin E will promote growth. Also the B vitamins are another sure fire way to ‘BE’ Hairy again the natural way.

Vitamin E is very good for the skin, it not only prevents sunburn and UV rays getting through and causing damage when applied as a topical treatment, it allows cells in the body, in particular on the head to communicate effectively, and this includes the cells with control the follicles that denote hair growth. Eating as well as applying can have similar effect, a good source of vitamin E is in sunflower seeds, almonds and spinach, turnip is a good source too.

It is no coincidence that the B vitamins our contained within high protein foods, these are the very same high protein foods that caused our larger body mass more than 2 million years ago. It is all about growth, growth for the body growth for the hair. Whilst vitamins like B1 are essential for the breaking down of carbohydrates into simple glucose sugars useful for the nervous system’s functioning they also promote hair growth naturally.

It can be found in whole grain cereals, egg yolks, meat of all descriptions, brown rice, and berries all food groups known and loved by our ancestors. Too little vitamin B2 can cause skin disorders, but so too just enough will make the hair on your head grow like wildfire. Increase your intake of eggs and cheese to get more of this essential into you. Vitamin B3 is another essential found in potatoes and peanuts. Of all of the B vitamins it is vitamin B6 that is the most important to consume for natural hair growth, it promotes red blood cell creation, which as has been described is essential for providing oxygenated blood to the scalp, where there is oxygen there’s air to breathe, your hair needs air, that is the natural way to get a healthy hair growth spurt on the go.
