This may indicate quite a vast array of possible problems. Some of these issues are solvable and others are not. Your hair loss may have been predetermined due to your genetics and the onset of male pattern baldness, in which case your only option may be to get rid of the hair as a whole and conform to a new hairless look, or go the hair transplant route to renewing the quantity of hair on your scalp.

It may indicate that you have been suffering from elevated stress levels recently also. Have you been under a more intense stress in work lately? Have you recently had a child? Is depression getting you down? Your unacceptable air loss may be down to aging. Each hair follicle has a lifespan which may be very much shorter than your own lifespan. As the hair follicle ages it naturally begins to close in on itself, with each growth sprouting of new keratin rods in the chamber of the follicle, the amount of space for growth decreases.

Once the space decreases to a level where hair growth can no longer be effected the hair follicle will lye not only dormant, but in fact dead and useless to you in the future for further hair growth. Your hair loss can be down to all of these factors which are difficult to prevent, (except in relation to stress which is easily beatable) or it can be down to other factors which again are easily beatable.

If your hair loss is down to a deficiency of some kind then you can best serve to combat this deficiency by adding what is deficient. Some of us however are genetically unable to process the natural components of what our hair needs in the quantities it needs. For example some of us have issues with holding onto Biotin the most essential of all of the hair vitamins. In this instance by driving consumption to supra-normal levels we can hold onto the levels we need to foster hair growth. However for many of the elements we need for the growth of hair and the prevention of hair loss, elevated levels of these in the body can in fact have a toxic effect on our systems.

When determining what is missing from our diet, and what we are deficient in, it may be necessary to attend a physician who can carry out tests on our blood to determine the cause of our hair loss. However you can foster an almost immediate impact on deficiency even if you do not know what you are deficient in, by using a one size fits all supplement. A multi-vitamin contains regular and pro-vitamins at recommended daily allowance levels, which should make certain that the deficiency in what you needs desists. It should take effect within a week. If the hair loss continues, and you cannot determine the root cause then you should seek the advice of a hair specialist or doctor immediately.

Some hair loss is only temporary, other hair loss can however be more permanent as the hair will not just break at the shaft, but the hair falls out at the root. You can determine what hair loss you are experiencing by looking at the end of the hair that has fallen out. If there is a white bulb at the end of most of the hairs which you are losing then this loss is permanent.

You can also determine to get to the root cause of your hair loss issue by taking the strand of what has been lost and accessing its strength. If the fibres are easily broken then it may be the case that the keratin composition is not at a strength you need. There may be an issue with a minimal amount of the amino acids you need in your body for the bonding process of durable elements within the hair. In which case you can take your brittle hair and make it stronger by adding amino acid rich foods like fish into your diet. Hair fall out does not have to be a worry as there are a range of means by which you can solve the issue.

In our bodies we can foster enhanced fast hair growth through allowing for only positive nutrients into our body. We avoid the unnatural and we strive to get the very best out of our body’s natural growth processes by giving the best fuel to these processes. When it comes to unhealthy elements we want to keep these to a minimum in our bodies.

We can limit the negative effects of incorrect consumption by keeping a watchful eye on the composition of what we eat and drink. So too we can limit the application of unhealthy oils to our scalp area which serve as inhibitors to healthy hair. By keeping away from the food groups that are riddled with unhealthy oils, we aid our attempt to prevent hair loss and promote further growth, but it is difficult to see what is unhealthy for us as many foods can be deceptive.

What looks like good food can in fact have been cooked in oils that may be deemed unhealthy. This oil is used as it enhances taste, but taste can be aided by the addition of good fats like polyunsaturated fats too. Often we cannot control the foods that are placed in front of us. If we eat in our office cafeteria or are limited to the number of places we can dine out in our locality. In the business of food serving it is the creation of profit that is key to success and sometimes this can be of detriment to hair health, why?

Because when businesses try to create a healthier bottom line they look to where cost-cuttings can be made. In particular the oil that is used in the cooking process can become a part of this cost cutting drive. It is cheaper for many restaurants for example to use inferior cooking oils, and so this is what they use. When you are eating out try to ascertain what oils are used in the cooking process. The frying of food in inferior oils also allows for the creation of more carcinogens, than say would be the case if they were fried in superior oils like walnut oil or olive oil.

When getting to the bones of the matter we don’t need to taint all fast food with the very same unhealthy oil use brush. Many fast food chains are using healthier oil these days in the production of food for consumption. The normal cooking oil, the cheaper oil that is generally used in chip pans can provide a negative effect to the body. The oils in many of the treats that we consume are often of a very high molecular weight, and serve to hinder the body’s breakdown of cholesterol. So in essence we may have to remodel the way we think about snacking in order to advance our prospects of fast hair growth. Thinking always along natural lines, focus on the foods where nut oils are evident.

An easy way to research the products we eat is in the label warning that products may include nut oil in their production. This warning has been put in place to prevent those with nut allergies from accidentally consuming the product. But these warning labels are equally useful to you as you strive to only allow healthy oils into your diet. Always focus on the natural, and if your pocket allows it go for organic based goods, which will also use better quality oils than those generated en-masse artificially and cheaply in the food production process.

Unhealthy foods that contain unhealthy oils can be determined from taking a good look at the label of ingredients on the food packet. In foods that contain a range of E numbers the chances are that as well as using unnatural sweeteners and colourants, the producers have used unnatural oils in the production of the food. This is not always the case however as even an apple contains E numbers, so learn to tell the difference between what is artificial and what is healthy and wholesome.

The allowance of artificial and unhealthy processed oils into the system will likely cause a negative effect to the health of your hair, nails and skin. Natural and essential oils will serve to bring out the best of what you have whilst the unnatural will likely bring out the worst. They serve to create an imbalance in your body’s natural protectors, and stay in the body causing a toxic reaction when the liver is unable to break these poisons down. For best effect trust what is natural and leave the artificial to those who do not care about enriching the growth process of their hair.

The simple answer to this query is that no they do not, some of the essential oils that you will see marketed as hair growth promoters can actually have a negative effect on hair growth. Some with high acidic levels can damage the acid layer that protects the scalp, and some will serve to undo the positive effects of other oils when the body is fed with the nutrients it needs for growth to occur. There needs to be a balance with all of the essential oils, as too much of a good thing can be bad for you as well.

All growth that goes on in the hair follicle is fed through a channel of tiny vein capillaries which maintain a healthy and complex network below the surface of the scalp. These veins bring a direct source of nutrients to the formation of new keratin rods at the hair origination point. Whilst all essential oils brought into the body, enhance the movement of blood throughout the system to this point of growth, sometimes the essential oils doing so brings drawbacks as a result. Some of the elements they bring into the body through internal ingestion can actually dilute the positive residual effects of nutrients composed in other essential oils.

The use of these essential oils to foster faster hair growth comes down to the stimulation of the many thousands of nerve endings that exist close to the surface of the scalp. The very stimulation of these nerve endings then causes the signals to be sent to the body you want. The signals aiding the getting of a more powerful nutritional flow of nutrients into the blood, allowing it to be better oxygenated when it arrives at the scalp to the point where it feeds the hair follicles.

There are many essential oils out there that have positive effects on hair growth when it comes to topical application. Peppermint oil as we have discussed not only has the correct acidity level for non-damaging scalp application, but its cooling effect actually stimulates further growth. In much the same vein as we have learned, coconut oil is useful for hair growth on a great many levels.

Studies have indicated however that many of the essential oils out there that are actively promoted for their hair growth effects through topical application are actually of little benefit in enhancing the vitality of the hair. A Marico Industry study proving quite conclusively that even amongst many of the best known essential oils, there can be very little residual positive impact generated for the hair and scalp as a result of use.

That is not to say that the essential oils cannot be of an overall benefit to hair growth however, as this study merely dealt with topical use where it is most difficult for the nutrients contained in the essential oil to make their way past the lipids that form the hairs protective barrier. Indeed right across the head there are barriers to entry for all of the essential oils except those with the lowest molecular weight.

In this instance it is important to understand that many of these essential oils can still be an essential element to the mix of natural weapons you will illicit for growing strong and healthy hair, whilst battling against hair loss. Internal ingestion is always an option with health giving essential oils and their flavour normally allows for the oils to be taken orally.

However some like nourishing cod liver oil do have a foul taste making it most likely that you will enjoy better the capsule option. From here the essential oils will get to work quickly, being consumed throughout the body where their nourishing acids and fats can get to work in aiding the vitamins (which you have included as another weapon in your battle for great hair) to form enzyme reactions that will aid hair production on a number of levels.

The essential hair nutrients of these oils get into the blood. From there they go right as far as the region of the scalp to the sebaceous gland eventually, becoming part of the healthy hair itself once secretions are made directly into the hair follicle.

It is the nutrient value, the hair enhancing elements contained within essential oils that serve to make the goodness more easily transient into the growth process of the body and hair. The feeding of the body and hair that is afforded by other factors in our diet, would on the surface appear to be just as beneficial as essential oils, but this is not the case when practical application is made.

Essential oils are in many ways conductive to hair growth as they have an affinity with the natural elements of the body. Human beings are two thirds composed of water, by virtue of the essential oils coming to us in a liquid form they can be more readily accepted as instruments of growth in our bodies than nutrition in other composition states. Ease of access promotes more ready growth, and in the case of essential oils, this affinity with the liquid type matter that is sebum created by the sebaceous gland enhances the sebaceous glands’ ability to attract these elements into it through processes of osmosis. With easier access into the factors of production that go into hair growth, essential oils can more readily be accessed to see the growth we aspire to, be achieved.

The thing about essential oils is that their composition is so similar to many of the oils that the body already produces, that there is often little issue when essential oils are used in replacement for matter the body itself has created, and uses in the hair growth phase. The natural oils go into the very fabric of the hair, embedded into the hair during the stage of growth in the hair follicle itself.

Essential oils by their nature are very similar to the layer of lipids that form the matrix of protection over the hair called the cuticle, and by this means their affinity serves to allow their combining with these lipids for added protection for the keratin strands at the core. Fast hair growth can be impeded by two much brushing but the addition of essential oils in topical application can negate the effects.

The essential oils feed the growth of hair on all fronts and unite in the protection of that hair when the growth phase of the hair has long since ended. They are at work in the body, performing detoxification activities, which allow for the fuel for the growth of the hair to be more readily attained. They are at work internally also, in allowing many of the pro-vitamins access to catalysts for the creation of elements conductive to advanced fast hair growth that would otherwise not exist in the body.

They serve to service the sebaceous gland with the good fatty acid based oil matter it needs in its provision of sebum to the hair follicle also. Their slight acidity is a key benefit to the hair health, in that there is a only a slight acidity to most essential oils. With this in mind it is perfectly safe to place the majority of essential oils in direct contact with the vulnerable scalp, most other substances may pose a threat to the scalp and hair follicles but the bulk of essential oils do not.

When essential oils are placed upon the scalp they serve not to irritate the scalp in any way, but have the ability to combine with the pre-existing material on the acid mantle to better aid protection of the scalp. They can do so because their PH balance is so similar to that of the acid mantle. Here the essential oils work by preventing dirt and other irritants and dangers from getting to the surface of the scalp.

It is in the use of essential oils for scalp massage however where one of the most effective ways they promote hair growth can be seen. Essential oils used topically like peppermint oil will cause a tingling and refreshing feeling in the scalp. This serves to further stimulate the nerve endings. The stimulation draws the body to react by sending enhanced oxygenated blood flow to hair follicle which then takes the nutrients from the blood for faster hair growth.

Our body is composed of a wide variety of elements besides its water base. In these elements we find different qualities that serve their particular intentions for the body. Some of these elements are soft and vulnerable, and some of these elements are tougher. Amongst the toughest elements in the body are the keratin rods that are produced by it.

They are tough as they perform tasks that require them to be tough. They serve to protect, they serve to insulate, and in the nail in particular they serve to enhance the sense of touch. Whilst the hair that we see on much of the body is soft to the touch, the keratin strands of which they are composed are anything but soft. Of course they will be softer if the right materials for their creation are not present and accessible in and from the body.

They are flexible in their being moisturised at the core, natural essential oils inherent in their composition from the time of their growth, and not just enhanced through later acquisition from the environment give them this moisturised and strengthened effect. Whilst the keratin we see of our hair, nails and skin is already dead, this does not mean that we cannot add to their ‘life-fullness’ through the later addition of enhancing elements.

Although as I have discussed previously it is difficult for new nutrients to be embedded into the strands once they are already grown, it is not impossible and there are natural oils in particular that have the low molecular weight needed to make the transfer right into the matrix component of these filamentous bio-matter strands.

Whilst we have uncovered that there are distinct similarities between hair and nails, the growth of the two different entities is anything but exactly the same. Yes for both the growth takes place exclusively below the surface, with the end result being that the older matter created is pushed further up. In the nail the growth does occur sub-dermal, but in a different way, the keratin matter forming a different bond with the amino acids we input to our system.

The nail is composed of a much stronger material than hair, with the super hair and nail vitamin Biotin serving to perform this function in the growth phase of the nail also. Although the nail does have a chance to regenerate from the root, this function is not used as often as it is with our hair. Many people can go right throughout their lives without ever needing to depend on this ability. The regenerative properties of hair are much more apparent, with the hair beginning its life cycle as often as once every five months. But you will note that this takes place less often in longer hair types, with more youthful hair buds lasting longer leading to longer hair, a great example of this the fact that younger girls have the ability to yield very long hair.

The principles of strong nail growth do indeed follow the very same principles of strong and fast hair growth. You get out what you put in, by inputting a high enough variation of essential hair vitamins we yield a good nail output. More amino acids means stronger nails. An input of natural oil based essential oils garners the nail the right form of lubrication it needs to grow beautiful and shiny.

The vitamins that sustain nails bests vary depending on the function they play in the growth. Some will serve to break down carbohydrate for energy release used in hair construction. Some will serve an antioxidant effect making the nails less prone to breakage, and better able to serve their protective function. The fact that hair and nails are constantly renewing is the main similarity however, the skin nails and hair are the main parts of our body that perform this duty.

The nails on our hands perform extra functions also, allowing for increased grip for self preservation and otherwise e.g. when we attempt to pull a thorn from our body we can do so using our nails. Naturally with time and use however the nail is worn away, making it essential that there is renewed growth taking place beneath the dermis to replace the worn away material.

The most amazing processes of the body are not visible to us. The body functioning as it should be is a combination of many millions of cells working in unison to the advantage of our bodies. When we cannot see it happen how do we know that it is occurring? The answer is simple. The knowing comes from the visible impact.

Whether you are seeking advice related to hair for yourself, your partner or another loved one, you just have to look at yourself in the past to know that the body has a natural growth system at the cellular level. See how you have grown through infancy into adulthood. All of the organs in the body work in harmony in a healthy body. They combat disease, they work towards the reproduction of our species, and they carry out functions that the body needs to carry out each day to keep the structure of our bodies alive.

Once the energy needs of these component parts are met, residual energy is used to help the body grow. The body is in a constant state of death and renewal. Elements of our body which have reached the end span of their lives’, see their cellular origins breakdown, and demise. The residual energy goes into a state of cellular division and multiplication, much like what goes on with a fertilised egg in the womb.

Hair cannot grow on the mucus membranes of our body, but it can grow in all other locations on the surface. The soles of our hands and feet along with the lips and eyes possess no hair follicles, but hair grows at a cellular level beneath the surface of all other areas on the body. The process of hair growth is divided into three stages of growth; the anagen, the cathegen and the telogen stages, with hair growth going on in different areas of the scalp and body always in one of these three stages. All of the hair cells that are growing will not be at similar phases in their growth, but on our scalp there is normally a consistency with the speed of growth right across the area.

Each type of hair, be it vellus, androgenic, or otherwise, has a different cellular composition, although the factors that go into their growth are very much the same. The medulla, cortex and cuticle are the three main regions of the hair, and when looked at under a microscope it can be seen that the medulla is an unstructured region within the cells of the hair, whilst the cortex is a much more organised region. Cellular growth is allowed in these areas through a feeding of fuels to the hair originator point in each hair follicle, the human body having tens and thousands of these follicles dispersed over the body.

The cortex allows for tiny droplets of water to be up-taken from the body through the process of osmosis, feeding and fuelling growth. The melanin that gives our hair pigment in all manner of different shades is contained in this cortex also, with the strength of our hairs shining colours based on the number and genetics of each of the melanin grains that the body has produced to this end. The cellular growth of our hair will vary slightly depending on the type of hair that we naturally have. It may be a finer hair with less bonding of filamentous bio-matter in the budding phase, or it may be a coarser hair type which would use more keratin strands in its creation.

The more irregularly shaped fibres normally going into more curly or wavy hair types than the round fibres, which at a cellular level serve in the formation of a hair type that is straighter. The protective coating for all of these cells even in the growth phase is a complex structure by definition. The cuticle would need to be complex to carry out its all important protective function from the complex host of dangers to the hair above the surface. This cuticle is covered from tip to root in a molecular layer of lipid which carries the ability inherent within it to repel water, and other variables from getting into the cells of the hair.

You have literally hit the nail on the head with this question, the primary reason why skin, nails and hair vitamins are primarily all the same is that they are composed of the same material i.e. skin hair and nails are all composed of keratin. While the composition is very similar it is not exact.

The intention of the body in using these strong protein fibres for hair, nail and skin mainly focuses around strength. Hair in itself is used as a protector of vulnerable parts of animal bodies, and even for us, hair serves to act in protecting the network of blood veins that are in close proximity to the scalp.

They serve to protect us in the event of suffering a hit to the head, the abrasion against the keratin of the hair, softening the blow on impact. In turn the thicker hair at the scalp also acts as a protective barrier to these veins that carry nutrients, and the large quantity of nerve receptors in this region of our bodies’.

I have said that primarily skin, nails and hair vitamins are all the same, but there are differences. Just as hair, nail and skin serve different functions for our bodies, so too does the vitamins that sustain them. Skin, hair and nails are in a constant state of renewal, they are lost, and they are replaced. The body is in need of a consistent supply of hair nail and skin vitamins to maintain the growth. There is therefore a reason behind my promotion of consistent consumption of these hair vitamins for hair growth.

One of the foremost commonalities between the three is that all growth occurs beneath the skin itself, in nail, hair and skin, the only living part of the bodily feature is that which is below the surface. Held together through hydrogen bonding, the fibrous structural proteins of keratin are arranged in parallel sheets at a cellular level, giving the substance strength, which further explains the body determining these best achieve the protection needed by vulnerable parts of the body.

The hair is comprised of a-keratins, whilst b-keratins make up the nail. These are different keratins, but in the main, the nutrients they need are the same. The B and E vitamins are as important for nail construction as they are for hair growth. Hair loss can be deterred through strong and healthy a-keratin composition. This holds the hair in place, increases the strength of the hairs’ foundation blocks when entering the final phase of the hairs’ lifespan. The stronger the hair is at the root, the longer it will last before natural shedding occurs.

On the amino acid front the function of the hair, nail and skin vitamins performs a similar function for each. Cystine is the largest component amino acid in all three, and it is from Cystine which hair in particular gets its stability and strength. The bonds that Cystine makes are many, and are known as disulfide bonds, bonds that link the strands together for longer diameter hair strands are also bolstered through Cystine.

The amino acids which combine to form keratin have several unique properties. The levels of amino acids therein vary depending on whether the keratin is to be used for nail, hair, or skin production providing varying degrees of hardness for each type. In all Hair Vitamins aid in the nutrient delivery process for growth, the hair vitamins also make the excess energy conversion needed for growth to take place in the body possible.

Generally speaking, the thicker that the layer of keratin is, the healthier the hair or nail will be. For hair and nail health promotion it is important for both entities that abundant quantities of calcium and iron are at the disposal of the bodies’ growth processes. Because the dead cells outside the body protect the living cells of hair and nail at the core, keeping the external layer of keratin moisturised will also maintain the health of the keratin fibrous elements beneath the surface. This is true for skin also.

In summary; skin, nail and hair vitamins are all the same for the reason that they are all made of the same material, have the same growth pattern, and serve a similar function for our body.

Healthy hair vitamins are superior to other treatment methods, in that they are an all natural means of promoting hair growth. They have been used by our ancestors, and long before. In prehistory man was not so observant of the actual elements he was putting into his body, there was a natural function to all consumption of matter. When he was hungry, he found food, sucking marrow from bones discarded by predators, which in turn allowed for an evolution of the higher functioning brain we now enjoy.

It is only in the modern day that we have come to the point of fully understanding the chemical composition of the foods we consume. We have been able to break down which particular elements are good for us. We have been able to determine what does what, in the natural functioning of our bodies. Science has determined through observance, that hair vitamins are responsible for enzyme reactions in our bodies’ that illicit certain responses.

These responses include the conversion of energy from carbohydrates, and the combining with amino acids to produce stronger hair fibres in the keratin composition of our hair.

Understanding and experimentation has also found that there are few chemicals beyond the natural that have any determinant function beyond that offered by hair vitamins in promoting growth of our hair.

In your search for products that have the residual effect of promoting the growth of strong long and healthy growth it is easy to be sidetracked by the wild claims of many marketers with regards to the potential benefits of the products they offer. Any product you use should be natural and healthy hair vitamins.

There is only one certainty for hair, and this is a constant for the time being. The keratin strands once they leave the hair follicle when the hair follicle has been filled and has forced them out onto the surface are actually dead. There is no benefit with regards to speeding the process of hair growth therefore, by applying product of any nature to this area of the head.

Similarly there are only a small number of elements which have the low molecular weight which is necessary to go beyond the cell membrane, and get to action within the hair follicle itself. It has been determined that of those elements that can actually achieve this bridging of the membrane divide, the most effective are actually natural. In the main part any promotion of hair growth, needs to come from within the body itself. As it is dangerous to ingest any medication which is unnatural for reasons beyond being ill, it is important that what we ingest in the pursuit of the growth of strong, long and healthy hair is natural in origins.

The healthy hair vitamins, the B Vitamins and the E Vitamins, the composition of which I have already gone into detail, are available in forms of a supplementary nature. But it is important to note too, that as all of these elements are naturally occurring, and can be found in the food we eat, all of these can be obtained naturally without supplementary consumption.

Of course some are only present in foods in a trace amount, which may not be substantial enough for real progress, and the full capabilities of what hair vitamins can do for you to be achieved. By bolstering the quantities of these Hair Vitamins in our bodies’ we can bolster the bodies’ ability to conduct sustained and fast hair growth, but there is a always a sliding scale of effectiveness, i.e. double the amount of the Healthy Hair Vitamin does not double the speed of the hair growth.

If you are suffering from hair loss, from certain types of balding ailments, or just want to get your hair growth back to the speed at which it grew in your younger years supplements can help. Indeed the taking of larger quantities of these hair vitamins than is afforded in nature or possible through normal consumption of foods without experiencing weight gain, then a supplement which includes the particular hair vitamin in higher concentrations may be of benefit.

The most important factor to note, and the reason why I like to prescribe hair vitamins for my patients, is that as they are natural, high consumption of any of the hair vitamins has very limited negative effects. I am slower to promote medications outside of the natural elements we will find in our environment, as the negative repercussions of their taking can be more severe.

Vitamins stand for vitality, and they are vitally important for hair growth. I have in other articles given an overview of the many E Vitamins and how they function, but the B Vitamins should not be ignored as nutrients that will nurture hair growth.

An often neglected Vitamin that is beneficial is Vitamin B5. The cases of deficiency in humans of this B vitamin are rare, due to its being present in a wide range of foods, hence its Latin name originating from the term ‘found everywhere.’ When it is found in the body at heightened levels however, it is good news for those seeking to advance the speed at which their hair grows, and procure for the body the elements from which healthy hair is grown.

Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) is one of the best hair vitamins and works to synthesise in our body our fuel. It does this through allowing carbohydrates to become converted into energy. It carries out a similar function with fats, and can in fact put excess fat to good use, converting it into the excess energy we need to grow great hair fast when we are on a calorie controlled diet combined with exercise.

You will have heard doctors speak in the past about your metabolism, and how it slows down as we age, by increasing the amount of this vitamin that serves to metabolise our proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, we speed up our metabolic rate. The added benefit Pantothenic acid gives us is in the converting of the proteins we consume, it converts the protein for the creation of keratin for our hair at a fast rate.

This is the best vitamin for hair growth, and an essential nutrient found in large quantities in eggs and meat as well as yoghurt. Boffins have been using its beneficial effects for decades now, with Pantothenic acid a primary ingredient in many hair care products on the market. It aids in the movement of carbon throughout the cells by using its ‘provitamin’ qualities to synthesise coenzymes, which in turn go onto convert the good fatty acids that make up the natural lubricant in the sebaceous glands below the hairline.

To summarise the hair growth benefits of this vitamin listed so far, Vitamin B5 functions to bolster the conversion of the protein that makes up hair, it bolsters the hair growth that goes on just below the hair follicle providing lubricant for the hair growth, not only this but it bolsters the conversion of excess energy in our bodies which is a fundamental behind hair growth. This three pronged approach is so important for the body as a whole, that our systems would be unable to function without it.

With this in mind by increasing the Vitamin B5 levels in our body we can make healthy hair grow faster. Whilst the function of this vitamin is not exclusively related to hair growth, it is an important nutrient in making all parts of the hair growth process possible.

To get more into our system we could concentrate on consuming fish eggs where Vitamin B5 is at its highest levels in the natural world. If your budget cannot reach the heights needed to dine on caviar however, there is an easier solution. For the most effective absorption of Vitamin B5 into the body you should go with the supplementary form, the best one for you being Calcium pantothenate, due to its being easy on the stomach lining. You will find also that it is contained in recommended daily amounts in the bulk of multivitamin supplements out there. There is mounting scientific evidence, that athletes who use this vitamin in a supplementary form have an increased oxygenated blood flow, which is also a positive in getting the oxygen fuel to the hair follicles just below the scalp.

It should be noted that many hair care companies have added B5 as an element to their topical products. There is no evidence to suggest that topical application has any benefit to the hair growth function. The hair care companies were attempting to capitalise on research that showed deficiency of Vitamin B5 led to a loss of hair pigment in lab mice. Although Vitamin B5 has many functions with regard to hair, there is no evidence to suggest that increased quantities of the substance in our bodies will promote grey hair to grow in its original colour once again.

In line with these articles and their focus on the potential of natural elements to improve the hair growth process I do not condone the use of nasty chemicals to make hair grow faster. On this note I wish to introduce you to the Copper peptide, and how it can play its part in making hair grow fast.

Whilst its chemical composition ‘GHK-Cu’ may at first glance denote that it is a potentially nasty chemical that you should avoid, it is anything but. Recent studies have shown its benefits in promoting hair growth after hair transplantations, and research has also shown its antioxidant properties are stronger than those provided by even Vitamin C.

Much more besides however, with this important peptide and amino acid in our bodies the red blood cell count is increased. Red blood cells drive the oxygen we need to the scalp region to fuel faster hair growth; the antioxidant properties infuse the keratin strands of the hair with anti-oxidising properties also, thereby protecting the hair from natural oxidisation. This natural oxidising of our hair is the break-down of the hair, leading to breakage and fallout. But by adding anti-oxidising elements to the keratin strands protects pollutants from getting into the hair, prolonging the lifespan of what hair exists, whilst ensuring that new fast hair growth is ‘born’ through the scalp, and born ready with a protective shield from nasty chemicals in the atmosphere.

This peptide that is in fact an amino acid, one of the ‘building blocks of life’ has been determined to promote stronger and thicker skin. This production of stronger skin coincides with the production of stronger hair, as the composition of both hair and skin are virtually identical.

It is from its combination of three amino acids linked together that it derives its hair strengthening ability. The fact that human beings naturally lose their ability to maintain elevated levels of the copper peptide in the body when they age is one of the reasons behind hair loss, and failure to grow hair fast by older persons.

It is naturally occurring in the plasma of our blood and beneficial for wound healing. This leads me into explaining its function in maintaining the health of the near open ‘mini wounds’ that are the sub dermis hair follicles. Copper peptide’s component parts allow for the strengthening of the hair follicle opening, keeping it open for longer, and allowing the offshoots of keratin grown in the follicle to grow faster and for longer than would be the case without it.

Copper peptide is widely used in medical products, and can be applied as a topical treatment at low levels for the reduction of wrinkles and reparation of damage to the scalp that may have caused hair follicles to close. It potentially regenerates hair growth that has been inhibited by head trauma or intense pulling of the hair in your younger years. In many ways this peptide is a purveyor of youth, the only actual amino acid that can turn back the clock. Be it for anti aging or anti balding treatment the copper peptide a fast acting agent.

Hair loss can not only be slowed down, but can be turned into hair gain, through the correct application and allowing of escalated levels into our bloodstream where it resides in our blood plasma.

The head is covered in nerve endings which when stimulated increase the blood flow to the region. This peptide not only regenerates deadening nerves, but produces the red blood cells that drive the oxygen to these nerves. Increased oxygen allows the hair follicle to breath, and increases the efficiency of the incubation of new living hair. The normal incubation period is lessened in the hair follicle when all of these factors are at an optimum, making the copper peptide a multi-purpose tool for us in our battle against hair loss, and for the faster growing of hair.

It has been scientifically proven that copper peptide is a strong stimulant of hair growth, and there are a wide range of products now on the market that use this non nasty chemical for the advancement of the hair growing process.

Although many of these medications are primarily used in the wake of hair transplantation they can also be used for those who are suffering from hair loss and have no desire to go under the knife for recovering of their scalp with hair.
